DMNES seeks CSS Stylist

The Dictionary team is many things, but first and foremost, we are onomasts, not technical developers. We’re here for the fun stuff, for the names, the research, the obscure citations, the data collection, and the constant one-upping of who can find the coolest name.

To that end, we have our first opportunity to take advantage of the crowd-sourcing possibilities of the Internet. We are looking for someone adept with CSS and web design who would be willing to volunteer a few hours to help us design a pleasing interface. The DMNES blog uses the Pilcrow theme, and the in-process website is built on the bootstrap-3.0.3.min.css style. We are interested in having the CSS for the website be designed so that it is complementary to the blog theme.

Because the entire Dictionary is currently being run solely by volunteers, we cannot offer any renumeration, and because we cannot offer any renumeration, we are not looking for anything that would take more than a few gladly-given hours. If you are interested in helping us out, please contact the Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Sara L. Uckelman.
